No matter how hot or chilly may the weather be, hot chocolate will always be a Christmas staple on any Christmas dinner, which is why this year is the perfect time to spike your hot cocoa with Jose Cuervo\u00ae Silver Tequila.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves: <\/strong>5 people<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 \u00bc cups Jose Cuervo\u00ae Silver Tequila<\/li>\n<li>7 \u00bd cup milk<\/li>\n<li>2 \u00bd bars of chocolate, broken into chunks<\/li>\n<li>15 tbsp cocoa powder<\/li>\n<li>5 tbsp cane sugar<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc tsp cayenne pepper<\/li>\n<li>1 \u00bc cup heavy whipped cream<\/li>\n<li>Ground cinnamon for garnish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Materials needed:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sauce pan<\/li>\n<li>5 large mugs<\/li>\n<li>Something to mix the drink (spoon, whisk)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Pour the milk in a sauce pan on medium heat. Make sure to watch it carefully as it needs to be just warm.<\/li>\n<li>Add chocolate bars, cocoa powder, and sugar.<\/li>\n<li>Heat everything until the chocolate dissolves, stirring continuously.<\/li>\n<li>Add the cayenne pepper gradually.<\/li>\n<li>Turn off the stove. Take this <em>Cinco de Mayo<\/em> favorite and make it during this <em>Veinticinco de Diciembre<\/em> for your family and friends. Just make sure to keep those <em>ni\u00f1os <\/em>away from the cookie jar!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves: <\/strong>5 people<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>4 tsp Jose Cuervo\u00ae Reposado Tequila or Jose Cuervo\u00ae Silver Tequila<\/li>\n<li>Zest of 2 limes<\/li>\n<li>Zest of half an orange<\/li>\n<li>2 cups all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>Granulated sugar for coating<\/li>\n<li>2 sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature<\/li>\n<li>\u2154 cup confectioners\u2019 sugar, sifted<\/li>\n<li>2 large egg yolks<\/li>\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Materials needed:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mixing bowl<\/li>\n<li>Whisk<\/li>\n<li>Knife<\/li>\n<li>Plastic wrap<\/li>\n<li>Baking sheets<\/li>\n<li>Baking trays<\/li>\n<li>Oven<\/li>\n<li>Cooling tray<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Place the unsalted butter in the bowl and beat at medium speed until smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Add confectioners\u2019 sugar and beat again until smooth.<\/li>\n<li>Add in 1 egg yolk, gradually followed by the salt, tequila, lime zest, and orange zest.<\/li>\n<li>Lower the speed to low, slowly adding the flour, beating it until it mixes well.<\/li>\n<li>Drop the dough on the counter, knead the dough into a sphere, and divide it in half using a knife.<\/li>\n<li>Wrap each piece of the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Take the dough out of the refrigerator and place it on a smooth surface.<\/li>\n<li>Form the dough into a log.<\/li>\n<li>Wrap the log in plastic and chill for two hours.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat the oven to 180\u00b0C and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.<\/li>\n<li>While the oven is preheating, work on the sugar coating:<br \/>\n&#8211; Whisk the remaining egg yolk in a small bowl until smooth enough to use as a glaze.<\/li>\n<li>Spread the sugar on the baking sheets.<\/li>\n<li>Take the logs out of the refrigerator and brush them lightly with a little egg yolk.<\/li>\n<li>Roll the logs in sugar, pressing the sugar gently to get them to stick.<\/li>\n<li>Slice each log into cookies about \u00bc inches thick and place them on the tray about \u00bd inches apart.<\/li>\n<li>Bake the cookies for 12 to 14 minutes or until they are set but not browned.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer cookies to a cooling rack.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Pineapple-Tequila Cake<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11248\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2016\/12\/PINEAPPLE-TEQUILA-CAKE.jpg\" alt=\"pineapple-tequila-cake\" width=\"850\" height=\"850\" srcset=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2016\/12\/PINEAPPLE-TEQUILA-CAKE.jpg 850w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2016\/12\/PINEAPPLE-TEQUILA-CAKE-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2016\/12\/PINEAPPLE-TEQUILA-CAKE-768x768.jpg 768w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2016\/12\/PINEAPPLE-TEQUILA-CAKE-90x90.jpg 90w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not a Christmas <em>noche buena<\/em> without your tita\u2019s now-(in)famous pineapple upside down cake! Why not take over the reins this year and bake this classic Filipino Christmas staple for the rest of your family?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Serves: <\/strong>8 to 10 people<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pineapple Topping:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 tbsp Jose Cuervo\u00ae Reposado Tequila<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd small pineapple, quartered and sliced<\/li>\n<li>4 tbsp unsalted butter<\/li>\n<li>\u2154 cup packed light brown sugar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Cake:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6 tablespoons (\u00be stick) of unsalted butter<\/li>\n<li>\u00be cup sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 large eggs<\/li>\n<li>2 tbsp Jose Cuervo\u00ae Reposado Tequila<\/li>\n<li>\u00be cup buttermilk<\/li>\n<li>1\u00bd cup all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li>1\u00bd tsp baking powder<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc tsp of salt<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc tsp of ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Materials needed: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cake pan<\/li>\n<li>Oven<\/li>\n<li>Mixing bowl<\/li>\n<li>Electrical Mixer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pineapple Topping:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Place a nonstick metal cake pan on the stovetop over low heat.<\/li>\n<li>Add butter to the pan and let it melt, spreading it all over the pan.<\/li>\n<li>Add the brown sugar, the tequila, and cook, stirring everything constantly until the mixture is smooth and thick.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the pan and arrange the pineapple slices over the mixture.<\/li>\n<li>Set aside.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><strong>Cake:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Preheat oven to 170\u00b0C.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Using a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar with an electrical mixer for two minutes or until the mixture is light and fluffy.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Gradually add the eggs and tequila.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk, beating after each succession.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Pour the batter over the pineapple.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Bake for 45 minutes or until golden.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify\">Take the cake out of the oven, let it cool for 15 minutes, then invert onto a plate.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Tequila Lime Chicken<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-11250\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2016\/12\/TEQUILA-LIME-CHICKEN.jpg\" alt=\"tequila-lime-chicken\" width=\"850\" height=\"850\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Is your only cooking experience only up to boiling water in the percolator?
