Image from\u00a0@JenniferLetran via Twitter<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Christmas is definitely just around the corner as Light Rail Manila Corporation, the operation of the Light Rail Transit 1 (LRT-1) has launched the LRT-1 Christmas Train last November 28, Monday, which is less than a month before Christmas.<\/p>\n<p>Several commuters shuffling in and out of the train had expressed their delight in the Christmas-themed trained. In a tweet compiled by <a href=\"http:\/\/news.abs-cbn.com\/life\/11\/29\/16\/look-lrt-1-launches-christmas-themed-train\">ABS-CBN News<\/a>\u00a0, there were images of Christmas ornaments hanging on the window and surrounding the interior,<em> parol<\/em>\u00a0images plastered on the ceilings, candy-striped poles embellishing the train.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview conducted by <a href=\"http:\/\/cnnphilippines.com\/lifestyle\/2016\/11\/29\/Passengers-enjoy-Christmas-cheer-with-LRT1s-new-look.html\">CNN Philippines<\/a>, the LRMC corporate communications head, Rochelle Gamboa said that the company intentionally did not put a holiday mask on the outside of the train to surprise commuters and that the Christmas Train is part of a small project to lighten up the mood of the passenger.<\/p>\n<p>Gamboa also said that they will launch a <em>selfie\u00a0<\/em>contest this week for riders of the Christmas train.
