A gastronomic gathering was held at Whitespace, Makati on Wednesday, November 26 which was attended by various ministries of the Italian government and embassy representatives.<\/p>\n<p>Spearheaded by Italian institutions, their goal was not only to celebrate their friendship between the Philippines and their country, but also to discover and celebrate the identity of the Italian palette.<\/p>\n<p>In his opening remarks, Italian Ambassador Massimo Roscigno thanked everyone who was a part of the event: from the artisans to the chefs and sponsors.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-10038\" src=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2016\/11\/19.jpg\" alt=\"19\" width=\"850\" height=\"566\" srcset=\"https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2016\/11\/19.jpg 850w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2016\/11\/19-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/primer.com.ph\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/14\/2016\/11\/19-768x511.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Italian cuisine dates back to the Roman empire and has evolved through many centuries.
