This century-old mansion was built in 1830 and was given as a dowry when President Quirino married the descendant of the Syquia family. Previously, it was used to hold government functions and meetings by the Quirino administration. At present, it is a museum.

Its facade was inspired by the fusion of Filipino-Spanish architecture made from durable stones and wood. Just like any other house of the prominent mestizos back in the Spanish era, it features a wide open-air balcony called Azotea, with peeping holes in the second-floor salas or living room wherein they can see visitors from the ground floor.

One feature of the old stone house is the capiz windows, while each room is equipped with Kama ni Ah-tay, a four-post bed which serves as a status symbol back in the days.

Inside, tourists will find large rooms filled with antique memorabilia like paintings, housewares, and furniture from different parts of the world. A huge portrait painting of Quirino’s family and a replica of Juan Luna’s Spolarium can also be found in the living area.
