  • Bluewater Panglao Beach Resort in Bohol
  • Families love to spend vacations together. It reaches a point where the location matters less and less, especially if you have kids. Bluewater Panglao Beach Resort takes full advantage of this and gives you and your family the time of their lives… all in a scenic location that others can only dream of.

Bluewater harnesses Panglao’s natural beauty and runs away with it. The semi-secluded beach is perfect for anyone who’s looking for a bit of “me” or “we” time, depending on who you’re with. Their garden/beach set-up is one of their best assets, drawing guests from all over the country and other parts of the world.

BLUEWATER PANGLAO’S SECOND POOL. This one looks out to the sea.

With a total of 54 rooms, it’s one of Bohol’s smaller properties in terms of room count. What it lacks in numbers it makes up for in space and design. All rooms are elegantly designed with cantilever beds that can take on anyone’s weight.

TOP BUNK. Well, sort of. It’s the second floor of their family loft, which has a view of their pool.

Its style is inspired by Filipino architecture, hence the focus on the use of wood throughout the property. The resort itself is very Filipino in its shape and form, making use of its 6-hectare space to give guests that feeling of being alone in the resort without actually being alone.

CANTILEVER BEDS. One of the features we really liked about Bluewater Panglao is their use of cantilever beds. It feels like you’re floating, yet the bed still feels very secure.

The resort has its own garden, al fresco conference/seminar/events place, 4-foot-deep pools, ATV and mountain bike rentals (the bikes are free), and much more. What sets them apart from other resorts, though, is the number of activities they can offer to kids: a playground, an obstacle course, and a separate area on the coast just for them.

ITALIAN-FILIPINO FUSION CUISINE. Aplaya, Bluewater’s in-house restaurant, serves mostly international cuisine. They dabble in fusion cuisine, specifically between Italian and Filipino food.

Bluewater Panglao’s only restaurant is Aplaya. It’s a Filipino-international restaurant that focuses on giving everyone the best meals you can possibly get within the area. Their specialty: fusion cuisine, especially between Italian and Filipino.

Bluewater Panglao is a part of the Bluewater line of resorts, which means guests who are members of their BLISS club can take full advantage of their member benefits when they decide to book at this peaceful Bluewater resort.
