Make your Hakodate trip unforgettable by exploring the bay area while wearing a traditional Japanese attire. On the 2nd floor of Hakodate Meiji-kan, there’s a shop (Hakodate Japanese and Western Modern Rental Costum Shop) with 400 types of kimonos, geisha, and samurai costumes, as well as regular Japanese and Western style dresses. A teacher will assist you in picking out a costume and will even direct you on how to pose properly for picture-taking. This is truly an enjoyable experience that should not be missed.
