  • In the Philippines, “unlimited” calls and texts are usually limited to numbers under your mobile network provider. That means if you are a Globe Telecom user, you can only call Globe numbers. Otherwise, you will get charged extra for calling numbers from other providers.

Normally, you’ll be able to determine which network the number belongs to by looking at the first four digits. But now, with all the prefixes that have sprouted up, it has become confusing and difficult to determine whether you are calling a Globe, Smart, or Sun number.

To save you from the surprise charges, we have compiled a list of mobile prefixes under each mobile network in the Philippines.
