Filipinos’ Love for Dancing
As a universal form of self-expression, dance is a major part of the Philippine culture. From the traditional movements attributed to various regional groups to the modern repertoires inspired by the West, the Filipinos’ love for dance is deeply tied to the people’s appreciation and recognition of rhythm and beats. This is further proved by another activity where Filipinos are known for: singing.
Here are some of the reasons why Filipinos have a soft spot for dancing:
1. Dance is an art. Filipinos that are into dancing are drawn to the artful movements and expression involved in this activity. Hence, dance is a popular pastime for students and workers looking for balance in their busy lives. Some even take their passion a notch higher by starting a career in dancing.

3. Dance completes any merriment. Filipinos love to have fun; that’s why a party is not complete without a round or two of dancing.
