  • The best things can come from the humblest of beginnings, but keeping the same image is a different challenge in and of itself. This is what is so impressive about The Little Corner Breadshop.

A Santa Rosa, Laguna original, The Little Corner Breadshop started off in 2002 as a 3×3-meter corner stall in the Paseo de Sta. Rosa Market. They made their name making fresh pandesal, arguably the most recognizable of Filipino breads.

They make their bread fresh every hour, whether it’s their classic pandesal (which, by the way, are larger than usual), or their other signature breads. You will always be greeted with freshly-made pan de coco (bread filled with shaved coconut meat), kalihim (a sweet kind of bread with a red filling), Spanish bread (sometimes referred to as a Spanish roll), and other types of bread you’d only see in the Philippines.

BREAD LOVIN’. Check out these tasty and affordable pastries at the shop. Everything in this basket will cost you no more than Php 100 – Php 120, basket not included.

Another advantage they have over bigger bread shops and bakeries is their price. They are quite popular with workers in Solenad and Paseo de Sta. Rosa due to how affordable their breads are. You would be hard-pressed to find someone who spends more than P30 for a snack at The Little Corner.

They’re also known to executives working at the technoparks like the Laguna Technopark as an affordable place to buy food not just for themselves but for their staff as well.

Thanks to how tasty and affordable their breads are, they have branched out of Sta. Rosa. You can now see Little Corner Breadshops in places like Alabang, San Pedro, Biñan, Calamba, and, most recently, a branch at Ayala Malls Serin in Tagaytay.
