  • Scout’s Honor in Makati: Your Favorite Whimsical Craft Cookie Shop
  • This whimsical little shop in Century City Mall pays tribute to only one thing: cookies! Established early 2014 by Chef Miko Aspiras, Scout’s Honor has a display of cookies that is difficult to ignore. Their rows and rows of big cookies–with quirky names to boot–are enough to get you curious.

Among the crowd favorites are their S’mores Tag Along, the all-time favorite marshmallow and chocolate combination, but only this time in layers and with shortbread topped with graham crumble, Cereal Cookie Bar, molasses oatmeal cookie topped with buttercream and cereal, Dark Chocolate Potato Chip, dark chocolate cookie bar topped with a potato chip that’s also covered with a thin layer of dark chocolate, and Cookie Inception, inspired by the movie nonetheless, with an Oreo cookie inside a classic chocolate chip cookie..

Feeling inspired by all of those? You can create your own cookie, too! Choose your own dough base (Basic Chewy Cookie, Double Chocolate Fudge, Molasses Oatmeal, Peanut Butter, or Herbed Shortbread) and the toppings you want, which could be anything from chocolate chips to marshmallows.

Of course, a cookie isn’t complete without a glass of milk. Scout Honor has the regular milk in a bottle, but it’s also got other flavors like Almond, Nutella, Corn, Salted Caramel, Bamboo Charcoal, and Cherry Chocolate. You can have your own blend of milkshake, too..

If you’d like to drop by, you can head to Century City, where the shop is one of the stalls at Hole in the Wall, Century City’s more upscale food court at the fourth floor.

Get a seat at a table near Scout’s Honor and eat a cookie while you watch the bakers roll the cookie dough into balls, place them on sheet pans, and see the cookie dough one last time before they get transformed into the brown delicious discs everybody loves and enjoys.
