  • Premium single-malt Scotch within ‘reach’: The Dalmore
  • Makati and BGC have had their fair share of wine stores, especially if you venture along Pasong Tamo Extension. However, there hasn’t been a place that specializes in premium Scotch whisky, much less the premium, single-malt Scotch brand The Dalmore… until last Friday, when The Dalmore opened their flagship store at Uptown Parade in Taguig.

The Dalmore, a brand that’s been around since the 1800s, is considered the world’s premium brand for single-malt Scotch whiskey and has one of the most expensive whiskeys ever sold: a Dalmore ‘62, which has been sold for as much as US$200,000.

The elusive ’62 won’t be available in the Philippines, but one of their exclusive releases is featured in their Philippine Flagship store at Uptown BGC: the Constellation Collection. A collection of 21 rare, single-cask bottles, the set features natural cask strength whiskeys from 1964 up to 1992.

Apart from the Constellation, there are also other rare single malt whiskies available, including The Dalmore Legacy, 20 Year Old, Vintage 2000, and Vintage 1997. Whiskey lovers who purchase a bottle of The Dalmore 20 Year Old, you can avail of one of their 84 vaults in their Keeper’s Den, a private lounge for VIPs to enjoy a dram of their rare bottle upon reservation.

You can find The Dalmore flagship store at Uptown Parade, Taguig City.
