Greeka Kouzina (CLOSED)

If you go straight Guevara Street, a refreshing sky blue sign of Greeka Kouzina is hardly unnoticeable among passerby. Greeka Kouzina is the only Greek restaurant in the north of Manila. The restaurant is located at P. Guevarra Streets in San Juan. Inside, bright lamp balls are floating above the tables, the interior are pretty much simple and very Greek. The menu is extensive but the presentation is practically straightforward, lots of salad, grilled meats and side dishes.
One of the dishes from their menu is the Chicken Salad served with cashew nuts in a platter which is big enough for 2. Another is the classic Greek cuisine moussaka with a little dark taste of eggplants and minced meat, best matched with butter rice. The lamb is roasted for 5 hours. Its meat is soft and can easily be sliced. The smell is very aromatic and appetizing. For dessert, the guest must sure not to leave Greeka Kouzina without trying Greeka Yogurt (P170), which is two scoops of Greek yogurt with honey and pistachios. This is very different from the usual yogurt, it is thick and creamy and a bit sour. Greeka Kouzina has a wide selection of side dishes, all the items from the main menu comes with a free side dish, but you can also order it ala cart.
We advise that you bring your car when going to Greeka Kouizina, because it’s a little hard finding this gem of a place. However, parking slots are also limited. You can also check out Greeka Kouzina in its new home at SM Aura in Bonifacio Global City. OPA!
