  • A restaurant serving great Italian cuisine is somewhat of a rarity: most of them lie in upscale areas (like BGC) or are found only in hotels. My Kitchen by Chef Chris belongs to the latter, taking things a notch higher with dishes suited to the Filipino palate.

    My Kitchen can be best described as a no-nonsense restaurant that serves you traditional Italian food with twists and tweaks that make it uniquely Chef Chris’s. For starters, people don’t use the term “pizza” when they want to order, well, pizza.

     

    Original

    THE ORIGINAL, as they like to call it, can be classified as pizza, but it’s still an Original.

     

    “A fine, crisp dough layered with a blend of five different cheese and herbs” best describes the Original. It’s served with a bowl of arugula and alfalfa sprouts. How do you eat this delicious Original? Simple: take a strip of the Original, put a helping of alfalfa and arugula, roll it up, and dig in.

     

    risotto

    RISOTTOS are a staple in Italian cuisine, yet Chef Chris makes it his own with these creations.

     

    Filipinos like rice. In Europe, there are at least two dishes known for incorporating rice: the paella from Spain, and the risotto from Italy. Chef Chris takes the latter and gives it his own twist which really sets it apart from other restaurants who serve risotto.

    These delicious creations alone are enough to make you want to go to My Kitchen by Chef Chris. Add in a wide selection of soups, salads, mains, and desserts, and you have yourself a hit.
