Highlands Steakhouse in MOA: Home of Prime Ribs and USDA-Certified Cuts
UPDATED as of December 9, 2019: The restaurant changed its name from Highlands Prime Steakhouse to Highlands Steakhouse.
Highlands Steakhouse used to be a restaurant that you could only visit if you’re a member at Tagaytay Highlands. They’ve since opened up to more people by opening branches at the Mall of Asia and Estancia Mall. This casual restaurant uses the Angus beef with the highest rank, which will truly captivate your taste.
Although classified as a casual restaurant, they do not skip on quality. They dry-age these USDA-certified cuts for 28 days and cook them to perfection so that you don’t even need any sauce to fully satisfy your palate.
We highly recommend getting their Prime Rib (Php 2,350 for 14 oz.). It’s seasoned and slow-cooked at a low temperature before being grilled to perfection.
There’s also the Salmon Tornado (Php 700): a generous helping of grilled Norwegian salmon served with garlic mashed potato and sautéed mixed vegetables.
If you’re looking for something a bit more familiar, why not try their Baby Back Ribs (Php 600 for half slab, Php 1,090 for full slab)? These ribs are marinated and cooked in their special smoked barbecue sauce. The meat practically falls off the bone!
You can find Highlands Steakhouse at 2/F, North Wing, Entertainment Mall, SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City. They’re open every day of the week starting at 10:00 am. They close at 10:00 pm from Sunday to Thursday and 11:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
