  • Raffaele at The Bayleaf Intramuros: Wood-fired pizzas and Italian specialties
  • Pizza lovers would be delighted to know that there is a special place for them at The Bayleaf Intramuros. Situated on the third floor of the hotel, Raffaele Pizzeria takes pride in rich and flavorful pizzas that are a result of being cooked in a wood-fired oven.

A must-try pizza is the Diavola (Php 570) which is made with tomato, mozzarella, and spicy pepperoni. The restaurant also lets you choose whether you like your pizza crusty or soft; just say your preference to the server. Diners can also enjoy other Italian favorites like pasta and seafood dishes.

Raffaele offers different kinds of Bruschetta with prices ranging from Php 190 to Php 300.

The interior of Raffaele is simple yet classy, dominated by wood from floor to ceiling and accentuated by green and purple seats that would remind one of the vivid colors of autumn. The restaurant is also surrounded by plants, which gives you the feeling of dining in a garden restaurant.

Although located at a lower level of the hotel, the restaurant also lets you have a good view of Intramuros through the glass walls.

This also appears in the February issue of Philippine Primer Japanese magazine.
