  • Tutti Belli Ristorante Italiano in Makati
  • Update: Tutti Belli is now permanently closed.

Makati is home to a lot of good Italian restaurants, some of which have been around for years. Tutti Belli, however, was several years in the making before it even served its first dish.

Tutti Belli was the dream of owner Nico David’s deceased father. A place that celebrates Italian home cooking, the dream now lives on through Nico David with the help of seasoned Italian chef Nono Bernas.

The restaurant transports you to Tuscany, one of Italy’s most prominent regions for the culinary arts. Apart from serving honest-to-goodness Italian home cooking, they’re also not one to turn down off-menu requests.

Some of their best dishes are:

CARPACCIO MANZO. A classic Italian starter for Php 335.

SPAGHETTI AGLIO OLIO GAMBERI PEPPERONCINI. Home-cooked pasta shrimp for only Php 330.

With good Italian food comes good wine, and Tutti Belli has some of the classics: Ornelella, Brunello, and Amarone are some of the best-sellers on their wine list.

You can find Tutti Belli at 1020 Arnaiz Ave. (formerly Pasay Road), Makati City. They’re open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch and 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. for dinner.
