  • Kabab and Curry in Makati: Authentic Pakistani & Continental Cuisine
  • As one of the few Pakistani restaurant in the Philippines, Kabab and Curry established itself as a family restaurant for many expats in Makati. Located at Jupiter Street in Makati City, the restaurant serves a hearty buffet every Sunday brunch and dinner.

Kabab and Curry celebrates their fifth anniversary this 2018

Run by a Pakistani Family, they did not hold back when they placed ‘authentic’ on their name by creating every dish from scratch, making bread in a traditional tandoori, and by serving only Halal food.

Chicken Karahi (Php 310) that starts off mild and intensifies every bite. Pair with Naan (Php 80)

Their menu is inspired by the different delicacies and specialties of the many cities of Pakistan. Everyone who comes to Kabab and Curry gets a taste of Pakistan in all their dishes. They get ingredients from the family farm in Batangas, and the dishes are personally checked by the Pakistani owners. They also adjust to serve customers of other cultures as well.

Beef White Handi (Php 395) cooked in a deep, wide-mouthed cooking vessel traditionally used in Pakistan. Pair it with Chapati (unleavened flatbread at Php 80)

Their curry dishes differ from Indian dishes in a way that they have different curry sauces to match the meat or protein. The fish curry sauce is different from the beef curry sauce. Kabab and Curry also offer different breads to pair with the curry as how it is traditionally eaten and served.

Good for five to six people, the Barbeque Platter (Php 1,995) is a collection of their bestselling kabab which pair well with your curries.

A new dish on the menu is the Pizza Paratha

Visit them on a Sunday brunch or dinner and enjoy a buffet with over 13 dishes for a price of Php 750 per head. Bring your friends and family to introduce them to the new and unique taste of Pakistan. Customers can request for spicy, mild, or non-spicy on their dishes so children can come to enjoy as well.

The restaurant menu is so interesting that customers could not help but explore the authentic taste of Pakistan only in Kabab and Curry in 20 Jupiter St., Makati City.

This also appears on the June 2018 issue of Philippine Primer Japanese magazine.
