  • Taperia Poblacion: Tapas, pintxos, and other Spanish favorites
  • In this side of Poblacion, you get to try tapas, pintxos, and more of Spanish favorites.

    All kinds of tapas

Opened last October 2016, Taperia Poblacion has become a hangout place for foodies who come in for their Spanish specialties namely tapas and pintxos. With Chef Ariel Manuel (former chef of Lolo Dad’s restaurant in Malate) heading the kitchen, you’d get to taste these authentic Spanish dishes, which was inspired by his two-month long stay in Spain.

CHISTORA GRATINATED with Carabao milk cheese (Php 590)

    GAMBAS (Php 395)

Wooden planks were from Lolo Dad’s and are now used as chairs in Taperia

The dishes in here will remind you of Spain, as they give you a unique and interesting take on Spanish cuisine through their selection of hot and cold tapas, pintxos, soups, carvings, and rice meals. Of course, you also have to try their selection of Flambe cocktails such as what they call the “Pinoy Quiemada in Carafe,” composed of white rum, red wine, fresh lime, calamansi juice, coffee candy, and cinnamon stick. Doesn’t it sound good? You’ve got to try it once you visit Taperia in Makati.

    Comfortable seats inside the restaurant

If you wish to dine in at the bar called The Sippery just beside the restaurant, you can order dishes from Taperia and have them there. Taperia is also a sister restaurant of Bistro Manuel so you can also order food there for more choices on your lunch or dinner here in Poblacion.
