  • Breaking the stereotype of expensive hotel food is Bistro by City Garden Hotel Makati. Located along Makati Avenue, Bistro serves a wide array of dishes that are a fusion of the East and the West, perfect for the hotel guests and visitors that it caters to. They also offer a number of Filipino dishes that are well-loved and received by foreign visitors who want to have a taste of the country’s cuisine.

    Recently, they launched a new set of menu that would be perfect not only for the season of Lent, but also year-round.

    Crab Fettucine (P365)

    One of their latest offerings is the Crab Fettucine, a dish made with spaghetti pasta tossed in aligue (crab meat sauce) and topped with fried kani. Bistro took the creamy fettuccini we all know and loved, and gave it a twist. The flavours of the aligue explode in the mouth, making this dish something that’s addicting both for the crab and the non-crab lovers.

    Seafood Basket (P335)

    To those looking for a bit of a variety, worry not as Bistro also has a Seafood Basket, which is made with different kinds of seafood deep fried to perfection. For a more delighting treat, this dish is served with garlic parmesan that would surely fill an empty stomach.

    Bistro Salad (P380)

    Some of the other must-try dishes Bistro has are the Bistro Salad which is dressed by a champagne vinaigrette and made more aromatic by the walnuts, and Shrimp Poboy. Bistro’s bar is also serving two new cocktails and concoctions perfect for those who want to have something refreshing whilst eating: Strawberry Orale and Margarita De Pepino.
