  • A family-owned business managed by entrepreneur and family man Jojo Chance, Ori Ramen and Steak is definitely a go-to restaurant at Circuit Makati. Established just in July 2017, Ori Ramen and Steak made a name for themselves not just in Makati but throughout Metro Manila.

Ori Ramen got its name from origami, the Japanese art of paper folding. It also didn’t hurt that Jojo and his daughter shared a love for Japanese ramen, which led to the restaurant’s name.

Ori Ramen does not just highlight a variety of flavorful Japanese cuisine; rather, it introduces a new concept by offering Japanese flavors with a Filipino twist. It also speaks for itself by beautifully symbolizing how they continuously catch their customer’s attention with great food and a memorable experience.

As a tribute for people who continuously crave for authentic yet affordable Japanese cuisine with a twist, here are some of their best hits:

ORI STEAK. Signature steak in special pumpkin and potato sauce (Php 440)

TONKOTSU RAMEN. Pork soup based ramen with fresh noodles, pork chashu, wood ear mushroom, soft boiled egg and scallions (Php 420)

DRAGON MAKI. Maki made with soft-shelled crab, ebi tempura, and crab sticks with slices of salmon, tuna, tamago, ripe mango. It’s topped with melted cheese. (Php 460)

Aside from their best selling Japanese food, they also offer scrumptious Filipino approved cuisine which includes their calamari, crispy sisig, tofu butayaki, tuna teppanyaki, and salmon teppanyaki.

Looking for something off-menu? Ori Ramen will be happy to oblige. Just make sure you pre-order them so they can check if the kitchen has the right ingredients.

Ori Ramen is perfect for small groups with their good-for-sharing servings. Reservations made a day before is highly more recommended, though you can visit them without one if you wish.

If you’re looking for a Japanese concept with a Filipino twist, Ori Ramen and Steak is the place to be. With their focus on Japanese style and concept, and a wide array of food choices, you’ll definitely to keep coming back to Ori Ramen and Steak.
