    Established in 1979, the President Grand Palace in Ongpin St. is an authentic Chinese restaurant that has is well-loved by tourists and locals alike. For more than 40 years, this restaurant has been one of the grandest in Manila and with their authentic Cantonese cuisine, this restaurant is not hard to love.

    Characterized by its mild, fresh, and natural flavors — Cantonese cuisine is considered to be one of the finest of China’s regional cuisines.

    To start your gastronomic journey into the meals at the restaurant, try the Fried Squid Salt & Pepper (Php 750).  This dish boasts flavors that are similar to Calamares but still definitely more flavorful and will surely be a great addition to your meal.

    Further, the restaurant also has a wide variety of dishes including the classic fried noodles, Peking Duck, and Roasted Chicken. But if you’re the adventurous type of eater, they also have dishes made from frogs, pigeons, and abalones that you can sample for yourselves!

    One of the things that guests will notice is the size of the restaurant — with 700 seats, a full-scale stage, and four private rooms, this restaurant is ideal for big events such as weddings, birthdays, gatherings, and the likes.

    • President Grand Palace Restaurant is located along Ongpin St., in Binondo, Manila.
    • By car: From EDSA, take Taft to Ermita then follow along to Quentin Paredes Rd., then make a right onto Ongpin St., The restaurant is located near New Quan Yin Chay Vegetarian and Willgo Korean Grocery.
