The Manila Mini Maker Faire is regarded as a gathering of curious and fascinating people who not only enjoy learning but also love sharing what they can do. The Faire is a venue where people can showcase their hobbies, projects, and experiments.

The Faire is not only a showcase of inventions but is also a celebration of “Makers” of all kinds – whether it be builders, painters or writers – there is no single definition of what maker is, hence, the Manila Mini Maker Faire is a celebration of all makers and their fantastic creations.

The first Maker Faire was held in California in 2006 and became the ideal avenue for enthusiasts, educators, crafters, artists, and students of all ages to interact and share their knowledge with each other. Since their first year, the Maker Faire has branched out to different locations such as Shenzhen, Tokyo, Rome, Oslo, and Detroit.
