  • One of the biggest multi-arts festivals is back this year, and they are set to bring everyone a bigger and grandeur event!

    CCP’s three-day festival called Pasinaya Open House will be featuring over 3,000 artists from the different fields of art. That said, a lot more workshops, exhibits, and screenings!

    Catch this year’s festival from February 1 to 3, 2019 that will take place at the Cultural Center of the Philippines and partnered museums.

    Now on its 15th year, Pasinaya Open House Festival is an annual celebration of culture and the arts through various activities, gathering some of the country’s best sought-after artists.

    This year’s theme focuses on Karapatan, Kalayaan at Kultura where they can enjoy music, theater, film and visual arts workshops, exhibits, and performances!

    PALIHAN February 1, 2019

    The festival opens with a workshop-all-you-can where guests can enjoy classes ranging from dance, music, theater, ballet, film, visual arts, literature, kids workshop, and other workshops like sign language and meditation.

    Workshop-all-you-can has a suggested donation price of Php 50 but you can upgrade your regular pass to a Pasinaya fast pass where you can enjoy a priority lane entry to performances and other perks!

    The Pasinaya Fast Pass one day pass is Php 300, exclusive of workshop-all-you-can or watch-all-you-can!

    PALABAS February 2, 2019

    The second day of the festival focuses on performances, exhibits and film showings.

    Various theater, dance and music groups from schools and organizations all over the Philippines will showcase their masterpieces all around the Cultural Center of the Philippines from main theater down to the galleries and hallways.

    Enjoy folk dance, orchestra, ballet, hip-hop, street dance, music and theater performances from outstanding teams such as Ballet Manila, Likhang Sining Dance Company, Hip-hop International Philippines, Philippine Educational Theater Association, and Acts Manila, to mention a few.

    PALABAS February 3, 2019

    Further, the third and last day extends the festival with a grand Halamanan Festival and Pasinaya Parade. This will be followed by another great lineup of performances from Philippine Ballet Theater, Tanghalang Pilipino, Ballet Philippines, Philippine Madrigal Singers, Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, and more.

    The last day will also feature music, dance and theater troupes from schools and will end at 6 p.m. for the People’s Gala.

    As the festival extends another day, CCP has also partnered with museums such as Museo Pambata, National Museum, Fort Santiago, Bahay Tsinoy, UP Manila Museum of a History of Ideas, and 98B Collaboratory and Hub Make Lab, for an extension of performances ranging from dance, music and theater.

    Shuttle vans will also be provided for audiences who wish to visit the participating museums and galleries.

    All workshops and performances will happen simultaneously at the respected venues: Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo, Main Theater, Tanghalang Aurelio Tolentino, Tanghalang Huseng Batute, Bulwagang Amado Hernandez, Bulwagang Francisca Reyes Aquino, Bulwagang Pambansang Alagad ng Sining, Pedro Bukaneg, Eskinita, CCP Library, Galleries, and Hallways.

    Note that Fast Pass tickets are at Php 300.
