  • The homecoming parade for Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will be held in Manila on February 21, 2019, Thursday. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has announced the official route and a stop-and-go plan for traffic.

    More than 200 MMDA traffic enforcers are said to be deployed along the route that starts at 2 p.m. on February 21 at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza. The parade will pass through the streets of Pasay, Manila, and Makati.

    The route of the parade will be at the following areas:

    • JW Diokno Boulevard
    • Atang Dela Rama
    • Vicente Sotto Street
    • Roxas Boulevard
    • TM Kalaw
    • Taft Avenue
    • Buendia
    • Ayala Avenue

    The MMDA will enforce a stop-and-go scheme where vehicles will be halted to give way to the parade and allowed to continue after the procession has passed. Clearing operations of illegally parked vehicles and obstructions along the route will also be done ahead of the parade.

    Gray is also scheduled to have a second parade on February 23, 4 p.m. at Cubao, Quezon City moving from Novotel Hotel to the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

    Catriona Gray won the annual Miss Universe pageant last December 2018 becoming the 4th Filipina to claim the title.
