This year’s trade mission took place in Iloilo and was attended by 150 delegates, making it BCCP’s largest trade mission to date. The organization’s trade missions support the government’s 10-point socioeconomic plan, especially in promoting regional investment.

At the same time, BCCP also held a Philippine Economic Briefing with 250 business leaders from UK’s top companies in London which was followed by a roundtable discussion with Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Ramon Lopez. The discussion was organized together with UK-ASEAN Business Council (UK-ABC) and was attended by 20 companies.

The organization also took part in Britain in Southeast Asia (BiSEA) Roadshows held in United Kingdom (UK) where they met with 165 British companies.

We build up all our work by doing roadshows in the UK. We go across all various cities of UK to talk to companies… again to promote the opportunities and try and excite people of doing business here in the Philippines,” Nelson explained during the conference.
