  • It’s officially the “ber” season and with just a few months to go, it’s almost time for Halloween and Christmas! But before we celebrate the scariest and happiest time of the year, we’re giving you the movie lineup for September that will surely take you to a rollercoaster of emotions.

    This September, these are the movies you should watch!

    The Nun (September 6, 2018)

    If you’ve watched The Conjuring 1 & 2 and you’re brave enough to watch a darker chapter of this universe, then you might want to see The Nun starring Oscar-nominated Demian Bichir as Father Burke, Taissa Farmiga as Sister Irene, and Jonas Bloquet as local villager Frenchie.

    Synopsis: When a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows is sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together they uncover the order’s unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun that first terrorized audiences in “The Conjuring 2,” as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned.

The fans – plus the daughter of a old soldier colleague (Lara Peake) – are being held hostage by armed kidnappers demanding a ransom.

    A simple favor to come-over turns everything upside down. A crime, drama and mystery movie that will tickle your curiosity in following Stephanie and Emily’s life.

    Synopsis: Stephanie (Anna Kendrick), a mommy vlogger seeks to uncover the truth behind her best friend Emily’s (Blake Lively) sudden disappearance from their small town. Stephanie is joined by Emily’s husband Sean (Henry Golding) in this stylish thriller filled with twists and betrayals, secrets and revelations, love and loyalty, murder and revenge.

    The House with a Clock in Its Walls (September 21, 2018)

    You’re invited somewhere timeless. Based on the beloved children’s classic written by John Bellairs and illustrated by Edward Gorey, The House with a Clock in Its Walls is directed by Eli Roth and written by Eric Kripke (creator of TV’s Supernatural), co-starring Kyle MacLachlan, Colleen Camp, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Vanessa Anne Williams and Sunny Suljic.

    Synopsis: The magical adventure tells the spine-tingling tale of 10-year-old Lewis (Owen Vaccaro) who goes to live with his uncle in a creaky old house with a mysterious tick-tocking heart. But his new town’s sleepy façade jolts to life with a secret world of warlocks and witches when Lewis accidentally awakens the dead.

    Small Foot (September 27, 2018)

    Small Foot is an animated adventure for all ages, with original music and an all-star cast, Channing Tatum, Migo, and James Corden, Zendaya, LeBron James, Gina Rodriguez, Danny DeVito, Yara Shahidi, Ely Henry, and Jimmy Tatro. 

    Synopsis: Smallfoot turns a myth upside down when a bright young yeti finds something he thought didn’t exist—a human. News of this “small foot” throws the simple yeti community into an uproar over what else might be out there in the big world beyond their snowy village, in an all-new story about friendship, courage and the joy of discovery.
