Medical Professionals in Manila: Dr. Christopher Gaviola
As an expat, there are basic necessities that you need to know to have a comfortable stay in the Philippines. Apart from food, transportation means, and emergency hotlines, it is important to be aware of health services around the metro. This includes finding a physician who can help you with your health conditions as you live in the Philippines.
If you’re looking for someone who can give quality health care to your children, get to know Dr. Christopher Gaviola.
Christopher Gaviola, MD
Pediatrics
Dr. Gaviola is a pediatrician by profession and by heart. He pursued medicine as a profession even though his pre-med course was nursing because he came from a family of doctors. He trained at the Pasay City General Hospital and has been practicing medicine for ten years, with pediatrics for five of those ten. He is also a school physician at St. Mary’s Academy of Pasay and gives away free medicines every month at Brgy. 168 in Pasay City.
He reveals that the reason for choosing his specialization in pediatrics is that he is an only child, who likes treating his patients as his own children. “You have to treat your patients like they are your own children so you’ll give them the best treatment. If you’re having a hard time, don’t be afraid to call for help,” Dr. Gaviola says.
