  • New ride sharing apps in PH get accreditation approval
  • Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has approved the accreditation of two new transport network companies (TNCs) on Wednesday, which are ready to start operations anytime according to LTFRB Chairman Martin Delgra. This follows the exit of ride-sharing company Uber and the recent allegations of overcharging by Grab.

Hype Transport Systems Inc. is now looking for private partner drivers as its transport network vehicle services (TNVS). Their accreditation as TNC is valid for two years and will start operations on May 26, said Chief Operating Officer Jen Silan. The local company says that the app can be used without an internet connection because it allows booking a ride through SMS.
