You know what else is good about the Lenten season? Apart from it being the perfect time for people to reflect—on faith, on life, on dreams—the long holidays seem to incite an air of nostalgia that makes you want to just look back on the good ‘ol days and just dwell on it.

And you know that the best thing to do is when you’re feeling nostalgic and sentimental? Feed your nostalgia by binge-watching these old TV series that will just make you want to go back in time. If only we could.

    F.R.I.E.N.D.S (1994-2004)

Of course, it is where we should all start. It’s the greatest thing that ever happened to the global TV. Despite nearly three decades since its release, it remains relevant, entertaining, and heartwarming. And oh, that theme song.

    Beverly Hills 90210 (1990-2000)

If we’re to watch a new show like Beverly Hills 90210 now, as grown-ups many of us are most likely to cringe. But Beverly Hills was the show that gave us butterflies as teens, torn our hearts apart, and knit them all back together.

    Dawson’s Creek (1998-2003)

Dawson’s Creek is undeniably not your ordinary teen drama series in the 90’s. Yes, it had a lot of corny stuff, but it also opened our eyes to many real things in a teenage life—like high school problems, family issues, and sexuality. If you’re a kid of the 90’s, it’s good to watch this film and feel like a teen again.

    The X-Files (1993-2002)

If you’re missing the old obsession with out-of-this-world crimes and mysteries, The X-Files is the perfect show to watch and feel creeped out again 90’s style. Admit it, its theme song became the whole world’s theme song, a background music for all things creepy.

    Dexter (2006-2013)

Want to be creeped out even more? Then watch Dexter! This is the show that proved to us that anyone, however good-looking and sweet they are, can be a bad guy. Still, we have come to love Dexter—but why?
