Post-event: GlamCon MNL 2018
The first Glam Con MNL in the Philippine took place last January 21 at SMX Aura in BGC, Taguig. Everything beauty was highlighted during the entire event, from skincare products to makeup brands and beauty bloggers/vloggers sharing their tips and pieces of advice to each Filipina.

The one-day convention was filled with women and men who wanted to explore the different possibilities of leveling up their makeup routine. Queen ticket holders were treated to a one of a kind make-over through the works of the creative makeup artists of Paintbox Artistry found in the makeup lounge. They had their hair styled by Styluxe Salon while waiting and learned the basics of hair care.

Diva ticket holders were able to take part in the different workshops and inspiring talks throughout the day. Nina Tadena taught the girls how to achieve a natural makeup look for every day in the Bare Necessities segment. Her talk was followed by the magic of contour and highlighting with Paintbox Artistry at the Makeup plus segment.

An opportunity to interact with the biggest and brightest stars of the beauty industry happened at the Glam Gala stage. Viewers learned about building their own make-up kit from Ana Victorino in her Makeup 101 talk. Jessica Godinez was all about taking good care of your skin with her Daily Skincare Routine segment, made possible by Ciracle.

A talk about loving oneself and being proud as a woman
Raiza Contawi was in it to win it with the attendees on how to use makeup to complement clothes in the Color Wheel Segment. Plump.ph’s Stacy and Danah Guttierez, along with Joyce Pring, Venus Raj, Julianne Tarroja, and Abby Asistio, talked about their struggles with insecurities and what real beauty means to them.

Aside from the talks, makeup, attendees had the chance to get freebies and buy makeup and skincare products that are mostly available online. Some of which are Paprika Cosmetics, COSRX, Neogen, IWhite, Naruko, Milcu, Biore, Pink Sugar, and more.
The convention lasted until 10 pm where we can all agree that Glam Con MNL was the ultimate beauty convention of the year. Here’s to hoping for another one next year! See you there!
