  • BDO lands in Forbes’ list of World’s Best Employers
  • BDO Unibank, the country’s largest bank in terms of assets, was the only Philippine financial institution to be named in the Top 50 of Forbes’ Best Employers in the world for 2017.

The Forbes list is based on the publication’s 2017 Global 2000 rankings, which featured publicly-listed companies from 58 countries.

The Sy-led bank placed 23rd in the prestigious list, after Forbes commissioned Statista, an online statistics and market research firm, to facilitate a survey and analysis of more than 360,000 global recommendations.

Employees from around the world were asked to rate their own employer and the likelihood of them recommending their company to a friend or family member. The respondents were also asked to recommend other employers they admired.

This is the second time in recent weeks that an independent entity has made a sound endorsement of BDO as a top employer.

Online recruitment site announced just this September that BDO placed 6th overall in the category of “Top Ten Companies Filipinos Aspire to Work For,” and was cited for its global reach, job security, and work-life balance. Jobstreet conducted a survey involving 3,658 account holders.
