Subic to host ParaTriathlon Asian Championships on April 29
The Asian Triathlon Confederation ParaTriathlon Asian Championships – which will feature some of Asia’s best paratriathletes – will be happening on April 29 at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

This event, which has attracted about 50 participants from different countries in Asia, will be organized by the Triathlon Association of the Philippines (TRAP). It will also be supported by various organizations and establishments in Subic – including the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority, Philippine Sports Commission, Subic Travelers Hotel, ASTC, Asian Centre for Insulation Philippines, and Gatorade.
The race will start at the ACEA Beach Resort where the 750m swim will be held, followed by the 18k bike event, and the 5k running leg.
Asian Triathlon Confederation president Justin Park and Philspada president Mike Barredo will be leading the awarding cerermony at 5pm at the finish line. At stake for the Top 4 winners are qualifying points to the world ParaTriathlon Championships, medals, and t-shirts specially-designed for the event.
