The newest museum attraction in Manila is now in the works! The National Museum of National History located at Rizal Park, is set to open in mid-2017. Dominic Galicia Architects posted on their Facebook page the work in progress photos of the said museum, which was formerly the Department of Agriculture and Department of Tourism building.

The museum will have a ‘Tree of Life’ which is made of alternating panels of glass and aluminum looking like a DNA structure. There is a lift inside that will take you to the fifth floor, where the geological exhibits are found. At the fourth floor is where you can find the terrestrial life forms.  The third floor houses marine life, and Palawan-themed galleries are on the second floor, said Tina Periquet, the designer of the interior design firm Periquet Galicia.

Are you excited to see what this museum will offer? For now, you can visit the National Museum free of charge. Read: https://primer.com.ph/blog/2016/07/05/forever-free-admission-to-national-museum-free-of-charge/
