    kyushu

Kyushu is the third largest island in Japan located in the south western area. It is a popular travel destination for tourists as the Island boasts of its magnificent sceneries, amazing food and other fun activities! Kyushu is also a home to beautiful mountains, including several active volcanoes. This is the reason why there are many pleasant Onsen (hot spring) in Kyushu. The island consists of seven regions: Fukuoka, Oita, Saga, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Miyazaki and Kagoshima.

    fukuoka

FUKUOKA. Let’s try to find out your favorite stalls!

Fukuoka is very famous for their sumptuous Kyushu style Ramen. When the night comes, there will be stalls suddenly appear out of nowhere successively around the city like the Hakata Specialty Stalls. This is a specialty of Hakata, the sense of Fukuoka that nowhere else you can find which always crowded with many after-work local people and tourists.

    saga

    SAGA. Imari & Arita Porcelain

Saga is well-known for potteries, porcelains, Imari and Arita which are particularly famous for the industry. You can also find the Tosu Premium Outlet  in this city. Tosu Premium Outlet feature both Japanese and Western brands. The store offers an extensive collection of well known foreign brands include Michael Kors, Dolce & Gabbana, Levi’s, Coach, and more.

    kumamoto

KUMAMOTO. You can enjoy their strawberry ice cream!

Kumamoto is very famous for Strawberry. Here is where you can witness the wonderful stone walls and towers of Kumamoto Castle. Also the very popular tourist spot, Josaien, which is designed to enhance the appeal of the old castle town and convey to visitors the food, history and cultural traditions of the region from Kumamoto Castle, a symbol of the city of Kumamoto.

    oita

    OITA. Chinoike Jigoku

Oita. Ask where you can find the best hot springs and Oita will be topping the list. The Umi-Jigoku (Sea Hell) is a 200-meter deep hot spring at 98 C, almost boiling! Also the Chinoike Jigoku (Blood Pond Hell). The oldest of the hells, Chinoike’s vermillion color comes from the acidic iron and magnesium-filled clay oozing from the ground. At 78 C, this is also the coolest of the eight hells, but signage reminds visitors that you still can’t take a dip.

    miyazaki

MIYAZAKI. The natural environment here is one of the most beautiful in the country

Miyazaki. Here’s where you can find the spectacular Takachiho Gorge which was formed over 100,000 years ago after volcanic eruptions in the Aso area and now the clear Gokase River flows through sheer rock walls, with numerous waterfalls and incredible colors in autumn as the leaves change.

    nagasaki

NAGASAKI was once the centre of Christianity in Japan and people from other parts of Japan sought refuge in the city to be able to practice their religion freely.

Nagasaki is the home of Huis Ten Bosch theme park, a popular sight-seeing spot in Kyushu with more than 3 million visitors come and visit annually. You can also find here the Henn-na Hotel, the world’s first hotel to be staffed by humanoid robots and Oura Catholic Church or Oura Tenshudo, Japan’s oldest standing Christian Church and is the first Western style building to have been designated as a national treasure.

    kagoshima

KAGOSHIMA. Be ready to be enchanted with Nature’s wonders in Kagoshima.

Kagoshima is a place in Japan where you can find many clear beaches. It also houses the Yakushima Island, a place many Japanese people long to visit. The mystic forest of Yaku-sugi, or Yaku cedars, covered with moss wraps around are a must-see for travellers!
